Support Program for Adoptive Families
Chosen Families is unique, multi-faceted support program for adoptive families. This program provides counseling, education and support services to help parents and children develop and sustain safe, secure and nurturing relationships.
Available for families with adopted children ages 0 -17 residing in Manatee County, this program is for families formed from all types of adoption (domestic private, child welfare, international, step-parent and relative).
Families who access program services will connect with Parenting Matters formally know as Family Partnership Center office. Though you will connect with the Family Partnership Center office, many of the services offered are also available in the comfort of your home (or another setting you choose) and in other locations throughout the community.
The Family Network on Disabilities is a proud partner of the Family Partnership Center and offers the following services for the Chosen Families program:

- Parenting Education
- Educational Advocacy
