  • Pediatric Enrichment Program (PEP)

The PEP program is a grant-funded program through the State College of Florida and its Early Success Program. It is coordinated and provided through FND and the Center for Autism Resources and Education (C.A.R.E.). The program focuses on First educating physicians and their staff on the importance and use of screening tools for developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder.

The PEP program provides participating offices with many tools and resources to aid them in the screening and referral process, along with materials to assist and educate parents about their child’s development and services that are available if needed.

“Since we started the PEP program in our practice, we have been able to identify more children at risk for developmental delays…and our parents have enjoyed the reassurance that their child is developing appropriately. …I feel the PEP is a win-win for both the children and the physician.” We are thankful for our participating physicians who have dedicated their time to ensure the best care for the children in our community!”
